Description

LEG Type Rubber Fenders – High-Performance Modular Marine Protection

The LEG marine dock fenders is a high-performance marine fender series. We produce a wide range of specifications, including H300, H400, H500, H550, H600, H700, H800, H1000, H1250, H1450, and H1600.

Additionally, the design supports larger front panels, which increase the impact area and improve energy absorption.

Berth fendering

Marine dock fenders can mount horizontally or vertically. However, it is essential to leave sufficient space between the fender and steel frame and between adjacent fenders for optimal performance. The face pads use Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE), reducing friction and minimizing wear during impacts. Moreover, the modular design allows flexible combinations, enabling LEG fenders to support heavy loads and adapt to different berth or dock configurations.

SME’s marine fenders prioritize performance and are designed to match the specific requirements of each berth. For guidance on berthing energy and fender reaction, refer to the ASTM F2192-05 standard.
