Pi Type Custom marine fenders – Reliable Steel Frame System

 

The HPI type is a high-performance custom-designed fender system. It efficiently absorbs energy while minimizing reaction force. Sizes range from 400H to 1700H. Additionally, HPI fenders are suitable for various vessels, including cargo ships, passenger ships, and tankers.

 

HPI fenders improve upon the Pi type, achieving a 60% design deflection. This allows smaller fender sizes and a more compact system. The multi-layered rubber and steel construction ensures durability and strong impact resistance. These custom marine fenders allow flexible mounting options, as engineers can install the rubber legs horizontally or vertically.

The installation design of the HPi fender system allows for larger front panels, enhancing the impact area and enabling more effective dispersion and absorption of shocks. Furthermore, the use of UHMW-PE as a facing pad significantly reduces the coefficient of friction, minimizing wear during collision.

 

Rubber legs can mount horizontally or vertically for flexible configurations. Height, length, and rubber compound combinations are customizable to meet different design needs. Fender length is adjustable, maintaining consistent performance while keeping height and rubber properties unchanged.
